| What got me into ecchi would have to be Ranma 1/2. I use to read the manga all the time back in high school and even though it showed nip scenes. I still enjoyed it because it made me laugh. For the first ecchi anime would be Highschool of the Dead. I didn't expect the show to have any ecchi. Back then I thought fan service was just for action and gore, but it involved nude scenes. I just watched it because I knew it had zombies in it, and I thought to myself this would be pretty cool to watch. |

| It all started with manga. I have the ideology that the first legit anime you watch contributes to your favorite genres. When i started reading manga I saw an ad in the back for Full Metal Panic and Azumanga Daioh. So I went and watched them. Full Metal made me interested in Rom/Coms, school life, mecha, and kinda ecchi. As I went to find more Rom/Coms I also ended up finding ecchi. I liked how the anime used sexy encounters as a comedic point and that got me hooked. Of course if i tell this to any normal person they would just call me a pervert... But to this day I have only seen like 4 sex scenes in anime (11eyes, Mirai Nikki, B-Gata H-Kei, and one other one.) |

| Um lets see, I don't really have a great story, i just simply decided one day to move to more extreme anime's and came across Highschool DxD cus it was airing at that time, my 2nd was lupin III and boy am i glad i didn't watch that first, i would have given up on the ecchi genre on the spot xD . After watching ecchi for a while, i got pissed with the censoring and started watching purely uncensored ecchi. First uncensored ecchi was Queen's blade rebellion cus it was airing at the time, after, i decided to watch all the queen's blade series uncensored and the rest is history. |
