| Well, I guess it depends. Like IMO the Clannad adaptation far surpassed the original VN, but if you take something like Little Busters!, the anime was good enough, but the point of the story just couldn't be conveyed well enough precisely because it wasn't a VN. I still remember unlocking Refrain, the main menu suddenly freaking out and changing, and thinking "Holy ****, so the routes were not independent.". It made me feel more involved. That said, though I do have far more experience with anime, I'll have to say I prefer VNs. ^^ (As for manga, well I can't read manga much unless I really enjoy the story.) |
| I personally can't live w/o manga or anime. I'd love to try out some good VNs but the ones I do want to buy aren't english patched yet (I'm looking at you, Amnesia) (T ^ T) |
