| I liked this chapter. It was so bittersweet later in the chapter, when Furuta had memories of his younger self with Rize, as they ran together. Furuta just wanted a normal life, and he thought it would be fun to grow old with her... Rize didn't think it would be fun to become a grandma, but he thought it would be fun for him to become a grandpa someday. :-) But it's too bad that day won't come, and he died in that pit after his fight with Kaneki... Rest in peace. It's good to know that Kaneki doesn't regret meeting Rize, and he would still meet her if the chance came again. Although Kaneki struggled with coming to terms with being a ghoul and had his life threatened, and was tortured... He did meet people he loved, and he grew as a person. It's true that even if all the people around us disappear someday, what matters is that we're living now. I'm glad Kaneki said, "This world isn't wrong. It just is." It's true that the world is what we make of it, and it is the way it is. I like the shift in thinking here, compared to when Kaneki formed his own group (in the manga/joined Aogiri Tree (Root A) after he was tortured by Jason, and believed the world was wrong and tried to seek his own answer. I get the feeling that having an answer isn't what matters. Instead, living your life contently is what matters. Now Kaneki is going to eliminate the poison oviduct, and hopefully, no one else will suffer from the Dragon. Only three chapters left... This whole series has been a long journey. |

| Ah man, Furuta is dead. Atleast he died dreaming of Rize. Fuck... Kaneki is getting attacked again. |
