| (I ignored shorter Special Episodes/Spin-Offs adding up to the main season and included 13 EP-Anime because 11-13 and 22-26 is essentially the same as 12 and 24 [don't change my mind]) I think it's really good: >Angel Beats! (colorful and fast paced ~ not much character development but barely enough to make it work) >Inuyashiki (has some bad CGI; if you don't like the Shishigami-Arc there will be not much left of the anime) >Mononoke Hime [MOV - not like there are people that don't know about it, right?] >Wolf Children I think it has potential - some people may like it: >Daily Lives of High School Boys (toss away if you don't like the humour) >School-Live! (tbh - I don't even now why I feel nostalgic about it) >Grimgar: Ashes and Illusions (Action-Isekai with some more sincere moments ... it's more like one puzzle piece of a great anime than one itself) >Happy Sugar Life (promising premise/story but bad execution/presentation) >Tari Tari (feels a little bit childish at times and it's a little bit weird to see that much "important" side events in a slice of life anime that doesn't convert them into a story) >Kokkoku (the characters are boring and the things are happening randomly ... fantasy never felt more sincere/realistic to me ... though it's obvious why people don't like this anime that much) Short anime in your PTW I highly approve: >FLCL (Avant Gard ... coming of age comedy in Sci-Fi setting ... very abstract and fast paced/over the top; not for everyone) >When the promised Flowers Bloom >Bocchi the Rock! (CGDCT&Comedy ... not much to say about it) Short anime in your PTW I do not approve: >Zom 100 (aside from the premise, it's just copied ideas and plot arcs, and it's not even particularly well written ... but I partly recommended the zombie alternative School-Live ... who am I to judge?) Special mentions go to Kokoro Connect (good), Madoka Magica (good) and Drifters (simplistic entertainment) who ruined their entry despite my rule changes because they have fleshed out films/OVAs. |
