This was such a sad episode. Neil appeared to be a cheery person but he kept a dark secret. He followed his motto til the end, never harming anyone (though he harmed himself). Rest in peace old Neil :'(

Sure maybe you did point out actual somewhat serious mistakes in the past but ion really feel like looking for those.

This episode got me. Old Neil just wanted to be with his wife again. Such a heartbreaking ending.

The last few scenes were majestic and bittersweet.

in a show about gods and interdimensional spaces, its an episode about an old man who regrets his life's decisions and is trying desperately to re-capture something from his past that hits the hardest so far. very good episode.

I did not expect old Neil's death... Fuck. I had sobbed a little when his friend died in the last episode, but this one got me in shambles, cried my eyes out. I did not expect this anime to make me sad!! Always thought it would be a Gang vs Mysteries where no one ever dies and MC just gets more power-ups... but no lol fffffuck me
