I'm only 4 episodes in, but seriously why. Jealous guy kicks MC out of the party because the woman he likes smiled at MC, random party takes girls into the dungeon to assault her and not for the first time, other party leaves a child in the dungeon to die and mention how others have already died, guild leader has some girl under a slave contract and wont let her leave, man gets embarrassed cause the girl in his party is better than him and yells at her and gaslights her into believing she's at fault, some guy who sells freezers is known to be a predator and tries to buy a young girl while everyone else is like oh well hes at it again. They all seem to have a known history and nobody is gonna do anything except the MC?

I get the customers need to have some problem so the MC can come along and fix it but can they not have other problems that aren't being near a group of men and need to be rescued?

I guess warning to anybody thinking of watching it.

I can't think of that many shows that doesn't have at least one villain with that stereotype that you mentioned in fantasy anime.

I'm not saying these characters cant or don't exist in other anime, I'm just saying there isn't a single person, that is male, that has a normal conversation other than the MC.

It's called emotional manipulation, and we all know that there's more sympathy for female characters that are in distress.
If you reply back to me and I never respond, I lost interest and don't care. Sorry about that.

It does kind of settle down latter, & you will meet some good male characters. Including one surprising one, whom you wouldn't suspect would be a good person. I did say that about those adventurers myself though, at the point your at, they contain a lot of scum.

Well yes, most of the troublemakers in this series are adult males. But relax, you will see some good men too.

Honestly, I just treated this series as something I can watch while relaxing and/or having a meal, so I didn't really put much thought into it.

There’s plenty of good male characters too. Sesta’s a good example. He’s a really cool character.

I mean it was only 1 bad guy in his original party, the rest were fine. The guild in town causing issues is the same guild the entire season which did most of the damage to people. And then there's the traveling group, which I think they let go a little far for story purposes but really that's it the entire season. They even address the "perv" later on. And with how casual they were about buying slaves it implies it's not that rare. They also go into motivations later on so you understand more backgrounds.
