Also, I'm starting to see why this anime never made it to America, booze, smoking, guns, and violence? 4kids' would've had to censor all of that! Anyways, nice episode. |

| It was a long episode in a good way, the first part about Anzu/Miho enjo kousai and that awkward convict was so funny, then the second part changes almost completely to a tense and dark atmosphere. This season's plot is quite different and I like it, there are tons of school anime out there but most aren't that entertaining (perhaps it has just became a "moneymaker" genre). |

| A really funny episode, but the part where Yugi and Jounouchi found out their secret was the funniest scene I've seen so far in Yu gi oh. The climax was also cool with its set dark presence and atmosphere What happened to Anzu anyway? She seems very smart here, but not in DM. |

| Yet another banger of an episode. Still don't know a damn thing about the card game, but this shit's great. Comedy was spot on, and that Yami no Game was fucking amazing. 5/5 episode. |

| It's really interesting to see that the Yugioh plot in the beginning was apparently just Yugi having supernatural powers and using them to play high stack games against bad guys. |
| The initial skit is funny. I didn’t like the rest much—neither the conflict between the bandits, nor its resolution, nor the fact that no one even tries to look into how the bad guy was defeated. The real highlights of the episode are the opening skit and the progression of Yugi and Tea. The Shadow Game was based on movement restrictions, which felt illogical and poorly justified. |

| The reveal was pretty great. Smart thinking on Anzu's part. Not the biggest fan of Jounouchi even though I know he becomes Yuugi's best friend. I wonder if he'll grow on me. Dark Yuugi dropping the lighter directly on the man's hand and having it land perfectly was funny. I'm sure he could've moved his hand such that the lighter would've fallen on a dry part of the table and then shot him but I guess it wasn't a risk he was willing to take. |
