Okay then :)

I'm Claire

I'm 30

I read almost exclusively queer manga/LNs now, although I occasionallly pick up a visual novel too. I also enjoy horseriding, weightlifting, and drinking cocktails. 😋

Oh, and I'm trans, which has proven to be kinda scary lately living in the UK. 😬

Hello everyone!

I'm feeling quite young haha, I don't really want to reveal my age, but I am an adult, I'm just significantly younger than both of you.

My hobbies are drawing, writing, reading all sort of things, and playing music. I work in writing, I'll leave it at that! Apart from manga, I read science-fiction novels and have really been getting into mythological fiction. I also read quite a bit of comics and webcomics, and I have since I was a little kid. I tend to read more manga since no color is easier on my eyes, and it is a lot cheaper to purchase than most comics. I'm bilingual in English and French, so quite a bit of the stuff I read is in French.

Because we're sharing sexualities and all that, I'll admit I'm still working through things myself! I know I am sapphic, and at this point in my life, I want to cherish that I have fully embraced this part of my identity. I live in a not-so safe environment, so it's been hard to say the least. I personally am not trans but I fully support you guys! Throughout my life, I have been supported by wonderful people who accepted me and taught me a lot about the world, many of them being trans. I don't want to sound weird or anything, but I want to let you know you are deserving of love and respect, and you are wonderful human beings. At this moment, the world is not being kind, so I wanted to just let you know. I always wish to read more trans manga, especially trans yuri, but unfortunately, the pickings are rather slim (so far, the best I've read is Himegoto, but that one is not licensed and the translation is iffy to say the least).

I love any manga about cooking and eating, so if you know some I have missed, please do tell me. I'm not sure why I like them so much, but I just absolutely love any media about cooking and eating, and sharing the joys of these pastimes and skills. I'm also a Doctor Who fan, so let me know if you like that show too.

Oh thank you so much for that Surprised, yeah it's getting a lot scarier at the moment so it's always nice to see supportive messages like this. :)
Also, cooking manga. You have unlocked my special skill because an ex introduced me to this one and I don't think I have ever come across anyone who knows what it is.

May I present to you 'Cooking Papa'!

https://myanimelist.net/manga/24841/Cooking_Papa?q=cooking%20papa&cat=manga

Synopsis: "The story revolves around a salaryman (Kazumi Araiwa) who can cook well. He shares his love of cooking to his friends, co-workers, and family."

That's literally it. It's a very old manga and I am not entirely sure if the publlishing stats are accurate and it actually is still ongoing. There is also a rather long anime which for the life of me I wasn't able to track down years ago. I literally managed to watch it because my ex had an ancient fansub of it on her HDD in like 2013 and the site she got it from must now be lost to history.

I don't really have a nickname to go by but yeah I do be here. I'm quite a bit of a hopeless romantic, so I'm easy to cry over things lol.

My favorite yuri series of all time is Citrus, and Yuzu and Mei are my favorite couple, I love how much their relationship grew over time and how thoughtful they became with each other. . My favorite yuri anime adaptation is probably Aoi Hana. Other than yuri i really like mahou shoujo and idol anime a lot, they bring me much joy even despite a world like we are living in today. Other than manga and anime I am an avid music fan and have collected quite a bit over my years alive.

I'm not willing to share my age, but I'm pretty much the same as everyone else here lol.

I like drinking, and sitting in silence reading for hours, occasionally overeating and oversleeping on weekends lol.

Good to meet y'all~ ❤️

Of course! I wanted to show my support because I know that things are getting really scary. I want to be there to support my friends and advocate for their rights. We're all human in the end.

I have honestly never heard of this manga! My gosh, is this guy's chin massive. But this looks exactly like what I want to be reading! I'll see if I can track some some scans or maybe some official French copies, this looks great.

It's crazy that it was so unaccessible though, that's a huge shame. I don't watch much anime anymore, but it really makes me sad when I remember how old anime is just so hard to find these days unless it's something uber popular.

so very nice to get to know you all

Surprise your lovely support is what we all need, but right now our trans siblings need the support the most💚💙

lolisatan now that you mentioned alcohol lol, fun fact about me I'm literally intolerant to it ahhahah so I can't drink at all, in fact the last time I had alcohol(just a glass) before I stopped was hmm back in 2006 I think.

speaking about sexualities, I'm aro ace, and for couple of years now I have come to terms that I feel aesthetic attraction towards men, women, and everyone in between. it is a wonderful feeling to break such barrier and accept oneself fully.

another thing about me is that I'm working as a 3D modeler/animator and I enjoy it very much :D

I also speak 3 languages, my mother tongue, english, and a bit of japanese

I show my support as often as I can! But you're right, our trans siblings need that support the most right now.

I personally do not drink alcohol out of choice, but not for any real reason other than the thought of becoming inebriated is scary.

I agree Haruharu, it is wonderful to accept oneself.

That's really cool that you work in animation and modeling, Haruharu! I personally (try to) do 2D animation when I have free time, and I am very impressed by the people who managed to make a career out of this difficult art. That's incredibly impressive.

Hiya! I'm Soph!
I'm 19! My birthday is/was today :)

I'm a lesbian and an absolute hopeless romantic. I love romance between women as I relate to it a lot and I hope I one day experience a love like the ones I read. I also identify as non binary for a few years now as well.

My hobbies include reading, doodling, writing, cuddling my dogs, and doing my makeup. Past year or two I've been trying makeup more. It makes me feel really confident.

I love a lot of yuri manga and it's hard for me to chose a favorite. I absolutely ADORE wholesome yuri manga. I love reading yuri with sweet and kind love without too much drama. Though the occasional drama can be lots of fun. Not sure if I'm fully making sense. I'm pretty tired

Sure, why not

I'm just some 38 yr old puerto-rican otaku, been into this hobby for the last, most of my life. Nothing else super notable bout me, really- just some dude. I dig anime; my genre's are mostly shoujo/seinen, and subgenre's are mahou-shoujo and idol, as my fav's. I do raw watches for 'lost media' anime; notably was Kabocha Wine, Minky Momo, I got the raws for Momo 92, and I found Esper Mami raws. So that's cool. I got no formal training in the language, just years of daily watching sorta got me to the point of understanding 80% of spoken dialogue, tbh. I can understand Japanese better than Spanish- its amusing.

Hobbies outside of this would be music (I'm a hardcore music junkie) and I'd say my range goes from the happiest, suggariest, brainmelt Denpa frantic pace j-pop, to the most lo-fi, obscure, gutter punk music you could imagine. In my 20's was very into local hardcore/punk music scenes on the east coast of the US; got enough scars and shiners, busted a toe, had an eyebrow piercing torn out, but I like the energy and the thrill of aggressive music. That's my thing; taught myself guitar from the age of 19, but I'm trash and just do it by ear, I like covering Slayer songs- can shred if I actually practice for a bit. Sold a bass guitar for rent one month- shit like that.

Guess at some point I did play video games; mostly just fighting games or arcade retro shmups and the like. I do play games currently, but its mostly just tabletop stuff, like D&D or MTG. I can wreck in MTG lol oh and idolm@ster. Yeah. idolm@ster. That's a major habit.

I enjoy my drink. I survive by cooking 6-days a week for the masses as a short-order cook. I have an addictive hobby to plastic 2D girls and I scrape by lmao kinda epic in a way. Gotta silver-lining this shit sometimes.

Friends is friends; everyone here seems like good people, so we all pal's, nice to know ya'll. I mean that.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY SOPH!!!
🎉🎊🎁🎂
I wish you to find the romance you deserve

Surprise 3D animation is not as complicated as 2D, even though tech now can help 2D animators to work faster and more efficient. for me personally the most impressive form of animation is stop motion, (famous example the movie Corpse Bride, everything in that movie is a real object and the characters are dolls, and everything was moved a tiny bit each frame by hand)

hey fourseasons,

your hobbies sound dope!

I also love music, and I have been a musician since I was 5 but my story is not as flowery 😩
when my first piano teacher decided to stop giving lessons so she could focus on babymaking, I had to go to another teacher, that second one was the personification of a the bitterest person, she was telling me I know nothing, she was pinching my fingers, and draw on them with a hard to remove pen, and in general she was mostly bullying me instead of teaching me new things, and I was smol and I couldn't deal with it so I stopped. My parent's found out when I was 30 or so lol.
all they knew back then is that they were paying for expensive lessons only for me to not study. that was my journey with piano, that teacher made me hate it for some years,
after that I joined the local marching band, which was free of charge, so parents had not reason to refuse, as my reasoning was "if I get bored of it, and want to stop, you wont lose any money"
point is I loved playing music. Anyway in the band I stayed for 25 years

if you know the anime Hibike! Euphonium, well I was the euphonium in the band, in my last 1 years in the band I changed to trumpet.
the reason I left sadly has nothing to do with music and everything to do with my maestro. I knew him and he knew me all those 25 years, but after he got married and had kids, he became extremely conservative, and I do look very queer, he would be randomly homophobic for no reason (not towards me necessarily), and he started treating me differently, he made being in the band toxic, and then he started not conducting me when we had an event, so I got the hints, and left with my head held high.

I do miss the band. and music playing, but on the other hand I'm so busy with work I hardly have time with anything else lol

now for my fav genres of music, as a kid I loved classical, and I was being a little shit about too ahhahahaha
then as a teenager, I loved pop, rnb, and hiphop, late 90s~early 00s is my personal fav years in music. then I discovered musical theatre, and that's what I enjoy the most, especially Japanese musical theatre
big example

Hello Soph! Happy belated birthday, I hope you had a wonderful day. I also do wish for you to be able to experience that love one day! I'm still waiting for my romance as well, haha.

I personally don't wear makeup, but I love dogs as well! My best friend is my dog, and I love him a lot. He's a cheeky little guy though, and he's always acting like a diva lol. Let me know if you ever want some wholesome yuri recs! I'm always consuming those lol.

Heyo FourSeasons! That's really neat that you're into lost media anime, and it's super cool that you're able to understand it.

I'm also really into music, and I basically listen to almost anything, although I don't really listen to rap. I play the guitar, piano, drums, bass, and other miscellaneous stuff. I've been in several cover bands, and was in my school's marching band: even though I'm not the best at it, I really love playing music! It sucks that you had to sell a bass guitar recently though.

I don't play video games, but I think it's near you work as a cook! That's a really impressive and needed job, I hope you don't have to deal with weird customers though. I have an addictive hobby of buying manga lol, so I get you.

I'm really sorry your old piano teacher was horrible to you. That sucks. My old piano teacher quit his job and became famous lmao, now he does music for movies.

I was also in marching band! But I did percussion, not euphonium. I'm really sorry you had to go through that, that director sounds awful, he shouldn't have been teaching at all. I had troubles with my director as well. I accidentally outed myself to another student who started spewing homophobic bullshit and insulting me so badly I started to cry. My mom saw me (it was before a performance) and we repoted it to my director. To his credit, he made the guy apologize, but I was outed to the entire Band, and the director took the other student's side so I basically was completely alone. It was a horrible experience, especially since I live in an area that is unsafe.

Sorry if that was too much information, just let me know, I don't mind. I also really enjoy musical theater, and have been listening to it since I was a kid. I mostly listen to English musical theater though, like Wicked and all that. Glad to find a fellow musical theater fan!

It was a horrible experience, and I didn't even go into detail. I'm jealous of that, our band is affiliated with the school, so you mostly just are with your classmates or people who go to the same school as you.

I will watch this song soon, it looks intriguing. I'm always open to new music!

Oh for sure, np- you got it; oh wow, I see the band name Crass and I get kinda hype lol Yeah that's one of my 'trinity' bands when it comes to punk tunes; Crass, Subhumans, Rudimentary Peni. Them's the ones. Actually still got my Crass hoodie I bought like nearly two decades ago lmao, its faded and busted, but still wear it.

Awesome tho; if you want some of those 'oh wow' anarcho vibes with a taste of psychedelic guitar technique than do also look into the band, Zounds- 'Did He Jump' is the one that comes to mind immediately, but 'Fear' is pretty slick, as well.  Zounds is one them lowkey bands that are quite talented musically in the punk style, like the compositions are real complex when you listen in.

Yeah I see mahou-shoujo and idol as animoo interests as well? mmm ayo I'ma send a FR, lol, just a heads-up; kindred spirits vibes, so look forward to chatting with ya more. New friend, get'to?

I do miss the band. and music playing, but on the other hand I'm so busy with work I hardly have time with anything else lol

now for my fav genres of music, as a kid I loved classical, and I was being a little shit about too ahhahahaha
then as a teenager, I loved pop, rnb, and hiphop, late 90s~early 00s is my personal fav years in music. then I discovered musical theatre, and that's what I enjoy the most, especially Japanese musical theatre
big example

Yeah that's pretty trash of your teacher- its not the same thing, but my Spanish teacher in HS was a real... piece of work- she would do that thing where she speaks in a different tongue while tossing shade and I really despise that sorta thing. I failed both years of the class, she was the lecturer both years- prolly some bull politics there, but whatever. It looked good on the surface to have her on staff for the rabble, in the class she was more petty than a 1st grader.

I got no real teaching with the guitar; like my method was listening to music I liked with headphones off my ears and just trying to figure out 'wtf is they doin' after learning a few Black Sabbath riffs. That taught me the basic structure of riffs.

That sorta behavior by ya former maestro is just something I find gross tbh; like sure, personal politics are a right to everyone, whatever- but I ain't bout to hurt someone because of that. Yeah, that's trash. From me: you got talent, fuckin flex it and enjoy your rewards for you

Oh this is neat- I do wanna see how ya music choices evolved- gimme a bit since I got sorta caught-up in a jam today. My genre's were always metal and rock; so my tastes reflect that, but as of late i have been enjoying some of the more chill EDM, futurefunk vibes, when it comes to JP music and the like. I'ma check these, 100.

ohhh damn the difference with school is that you cant opt out and go to a different one, so it sucks massively
I was a timid kid, never cause trouble you know, I stayed in my lane, my corner etc
and teachers usually liked me, except 2
one of the first grade of elementary school she was preggo, so she left later, but for the amount she stayed, she effed me up from the week. she slapped me for no reason, and that humiliated me, then she later attempted to convince me to not tell my mom, which yeah, it took my mom the entire day pestering me, for me to speak out. we went to the school the next day together, and my mom talk to the teacher, "if my kid does anything, write me a note and I know how to discipline, but dont raise a hand again" that's what my mom said to her. sadly for the rest of the school year until she left, she ignored me, as if I wasn't one of her students, and since she was the language teacher, her ignoring me meant that nobody took notice of my massive dyslexia, therefore I went with it untreated, and to this day it hinters me.

the other teacher who hated me was the high school english teacher, she was such a petty human being, and the thing is, her family were decent people, her husband also an eng teacher but in middle school, and their children they were fine nice people you know, but her...english is not taught well in school, so unless you take private lessons you can never learn. I was late on taking private lessons, that it was usual in my country, and I sucked at her class, but not being good in english isn;t a reason to hate a student right
anyway in the teacher parent meeting, all my teachers were like, ahh nice kid this that, and her was like "this kid is the worst always causing trouble" my mom was like "?????????" at the last grade of highschool, she messed my score by giving me an extreme failing grade 5/20.

and there are so many stories about her from other kids too
one guy he was not very good at school, but he didn't want to go for higher education in uni and stuff, he just wanted to finish middle school, then go to a tech school learn a job and go about his life.
he failed to graduate middle school, on his first try, because he was that bad, but he talked to the teachers and asked them to help him so he could finish and go learn a job so he can have income. (he was also a kid from a poor family) and all the teachers said we will help you, so they gave him enough to graduate, except for one, THAT ONE ENGLISH TEACHER, she failed him 3 times, he lost 3 years because of her, it was the talk of the school. he even begged her to give him enough to graduate her response was "not my problem"

anyway in happier things lol

one of my hobbies I forgot to mention is watching Formula 1. my fav driver is the goat Lewis Hamilton, been watching since 2000

My name's Sally. I'm a mid 30s, sex-repulsed lesbian, which really limits the amount of GL manga that I'm able to read.

My hobbies are watching anime, reading manga, listening to music, and playing the guitar. I don't indulge in my hobbies as much as I used to, due to being depressed as of lately. I usually just lay in bed, because I'm too miserable to enjoy life, because of how lonely I am. I wasn't bothered by it before, but let's just say that estrogen changed the way I view the world. I no longer know what the correct decisions to make in life are, and it scares me to death.

Hi Sally welcome to the club! Oof yeah being sex-repulsed probably does make yuri a bit of a minefield for finding series you'll enjoy.

I 100% understand what you mean when you say "estrogen changed the way I view the world", it's like my brain has been rewired on a pretty fundamental level sometimes. It sounds like you're having a rough time I really hope things get better. ❤

Hello Sally! Nice to meet you and welcome to the club.

While I am not sex-repulsed, I am on the ace spectrum, and I understand not wanting to see sex or sexual things depicted in the media you read. I would definitely recommend you the manga "Doughnuts Under A Crescent Moon", which follows the romance between two asexual office workers, one of whom is explicitly sex-repulsed. They do hold hands and hug, but they don't kiss or anything. I think you would enjoy it because it treats the topics very well, has no sex, and depicts a romance that doesn't need sex to thrive. I will gladly recommend some other asexual GLs if you want, or GLs with no sex.

I will sign the link in your bio, I always want to help support. I hope you are doing a bit better now, and finding joy in your life, indulging in your hobbies. You are worthy and deserving of a fruitful life and existence. EDIT: just realized I can't sign the petition because I'm not in Canada.

Oh those links was pretty cool! Ironically, had been reading Oshi no Ko for the manga-stack challenge and the 2.5D stage acting shows actually come up in the plot round Vol 5-6, so I was like oh shit. Sailor Moon hype. Always impressed with how talented others can be.

Mm sorta the same; my thing was don't play with fire, don't get burned- I mind my own business and am cordial unless provoked. Later on, I'd advise others to not gamble with they health lol I'm cooled now, but was pretty tense in my 20's- ngl.

That's wild with the first incident- I wanna say it'd have likely stuck when I lived in NJ and was in private school, but when I moved to a new state and my school was in the slums, WAY different story. Like, I know people who jumped teachers after school and things like that. jfc, You'd imagine the role of an educator is to guide and set an example, not to vent on children.

Interestingly enough, most of the flack I'd receive in school was because I was well read in English, but not from educators- rather it was my peers. It seems its sorta an insult to others if you read books, for whatever reason- can count on multiple hands how many times the phrase 'so you think your smart' or 'oh you better than me' came up just because I chose to read during break time. Imagine.

Almost got expelled in middle school for stealing answer sheets for the finals and spreading them among the class. I wouldn't say I was a 'bad kid' but I knew opportunities when I saw them? Aye, that sounds like a good interogation ploy.

To be fair, I think the education 'business' because it is a business, jades people after time; I wouldn't doubt that most all teachers enter the fray with good intentions and pure motives, but I think overall its a salty life at the end of the day. Not to excuse any actions, but like I can sorta understand the why, or at least I like think the glass half-full? I'm a silver lining person, despite being cynical to a T.

I know I've heard/ read the name Hamilton before, but I've not watched much racing cept' when I visit my folks and my dad's watching. Only sports I got into were like baseball and hockey tbh- the rest is more give/ take- I am feeling keen on getting back into hiking, but its sorta too much a hassle given where I reside. Gotta drive and find spots and uggggggg lol I'm good. Some them anime shows do be makin the prospect sweet ngl- go out traveling, check out some gourmet food, enjoy the outdoors, honestly that sounds so hype.

mb on the slight delay- got caught in some rl stuff, had to resolve it, and I don't wanna give half-ass responses :)

Yeah, I mean, I been watching animoo daily for the last 12+ years at a steady pace and along with other interests its literally the language I hear most on a daily basis. Thought it was pretty wild when I realized I sorta just understood what was bein said lol

Same- I'm pretty 'good' on rap, and when I say good I mean it like 'I'm good' lol I talk with an inherent slang and since I type how I would talk- yeah. That's quite a talent you have for multiple instruments; impressive, honestly. Especially drums, because I think that's a really slick discipline to have, like I 'air drum' a lot with songs, but I can never keep beat, that's awesome. Oh it wasn't recent, mb if it read like that- naw, I had to sell it because I needed to cover the rent costs on an apt contract that was ending; shit sorta hit the fan and fast money was the only answer. It happens, tho- adds color to life, no?

lol tbh, Supaspa, its not the customers, its the co-workers who make you wanna walk-out. I'd like to imagine I can do a decent job at workin a griddle at a fast pace, but honestly- I'm not a deity or god, food takes time to cook yeah? Not to dump on you or him'n'haw, anyhow; I'd love to buy more physical copies of mango myself, but that thin-line is a real thin one. Kinda pleased (at the same time kinda sad) that there's not too many figures that get announced that I want, so its a decent balance. I limit myself to 1K a year- that's it. And shit, I need a new case, like soon.

That's totally fine! I don't mind at all.

That's still really neat. I don't watch so much anime anymore, but I feel like I can definitely recognize common words and phrases now. It's pretty cool how you just woke up and realized you could understand it lol. That also means you can watch older anime or Japanese TV shows that don't have subs!

Haha, I like to "air-drum" along to my favorite songs, but it's hard to keep a beat when I'm just hitting my legs with my hands. Drums are a really versatile instrument, and I think it's always fun to learn because once you learn a couple of simple patterns, you start to pick up on a lot of things in the music you hear, and begin to appreciate complex drum pieces a lot more. I agree! I remember selling this really out of print, uber rare manga I found for very cheap because I needed the money. While it was sad, I managed to get a good price which helped me out.

That's really interesting! I don't work in cooking, so I guess I didn't expect it would be the co-workers who would cause you the most annoyances. Of course, good food doesn't pop out of the air, it takes time to cook something well. I do like looking at the new figure announcements, but hardly anything I like gets figures, so I never really feel compelled to get them. That being said, Nana just got two beautiful figures announced, and I'm so tempted even though I don't have the budget for it. It's always good to have a budget, I plan mine monthly in case things get weird, personally. I need a new bookshelf lol.

I am curious, since I am not a figure collector, do you need to clean your figures or shelves often? I'd image they get pretty dusty sitting around all day.

Hello! Hope I'm not too late.
I go by rivintrist online, you can shorten it to trist if you'd like :)
I'm 23 years old and I identify as non-binary (Preferably She/They but you can use He if it's easier, I won't be upset).  I'm an avid fan of Video Games and all kinds of media. Looking for digital penpals and new friends to hang and talk to! Anyone can dm me on Discord if you'd like rivintrist#0252 I'm usually always on when I'm off of work. I'm not new to this genre but I have been reading more and more of wlw that it has become my favorite romance sub-genre. Recommendations are also appreciated.

hello rivintrist
never too late to introduce yourself

what type of games do you play?

I prefer single player games, with my all time fav being the tomb raider games (old and new)
also RTS games like warcraft 3, or age of empires, or warhammer, (I despise the total war types with turn based game play lol)
another game series I enjoy is the anno series (city builder and economic simulator)
also sims 4, and currently playing diablo 3, so some reason I was chosen to test the closed alpha of D4, and I also played the open beta last week.

Thank you! @HaruHaruLove

Mostly J-RPGs, I pretty much play anything that seems interesting; but more specifically, I especially love RPGs that are heavy story based with/or easy to understand games with a high skill ceilings for those who wish to master the game. Recently beat Tales of Berseria which gave me both. I loved playing that game on Hard (not that I like hard games just the combat was so fluid and unique to me I couldn't resist). I really like RTS games too, I haven't really found my true calling for that genre but I've seen my fair share of titles like Starcraft and running parallel to RTS; I'm a big fan of MOBAs in general.

HAVE YOU PLAYED: ETERNAL SENIA?

lol
it's the greatest thing of all ahahha
really if you haven't I 10000% recommend playing it
it's a short RPG game, you complete in 4-5 hours max, and it's everything dream are made of 😋
AND It's FREE on steam

reviews of this game :
This game is not free, as it requires you to buy alot of tissues for your manly tears.
very disappointed in the lack of important options, like the one to tuggle feelings on and off
There's a Legendary Sheep
There are Multiple Endings
The combat is amazing
Story made me cry
My family questioned the large amount of tissues in the trash
10/10 Would cry again.
Choose your own bad end for free.
I weeped. I cried. I ate a gallon of ice cream.

okay I think those are enough to convince you hahahahah

Howdy folks. 34 here. Been a hot 8 years since I’ve been around clubs or whatnot on mal. Saw this club and figured hell I know some things. Mostly I read and collect manga, haven’t been too much into anime the last 5 years or so. At this point my collection is probably closer to the 2000 volume size. Big into queer and lgbtq things the last few years. Otherwise I game, do some streams every so often, just getting back into it after covid messed things up for a while.

Otherwise umm fire emblem and Metroid are probably my favourite series. Have played a bunch of the atelier series as well

I don't watch as much anime as before, but I still love yuri, I doubt that will ever change.
Happy to find other people around my age who are into it too :)

I'm a non-binary lesbian. It's been a hot minute since I've been active on MAL, but I've sort of been here for a looong time.
I don't watch as much anime as before, but I still love yuri, I doubt that will ever change.
Happy to find other people around my age who are into it too :)
Hello there, and welcome to the club!

I hope you will find many like-minded individuals, and we can all discuss our love for yuri together! Please let me know if you ever want recommendations, I'm always happy to oblige.

Hey there! My name's Olga, but my friends have called me Jenny since my adolescent days, so feel free to do so, too, if you wish. I'm very happy to have found a place where I can share my love for yuri manga. Really, it's been a very important part of my life for so long, and it's a pity that even when it comes to doujinshi, it's never as abundant as isekai or, say, yaoi. Aside from yuri, I enjoy many things, such as playing music, researching certain topics in my native field of astronomy, and writing fiction and non-fiction. I use some of those skills in my line of work, but, as often happens, it brings me very little joy. This year I turned 36. Again, I can't express my joy in finding this little community since, until now, I have been enjoying yuri manga alone without any chance of sharing it with someone, let alone having a discussion on the subject (my real life sucks on many levels, and this is the consequence).

To celebrate my finding this club, I've made a little meme using a well-known template. Please don't take it too seriously. It is more or less reflective of my personal journey through yuri manga, obviously omits a lot, and is in no way imposing. I just think it's a nice way to express something. Love you all!

Hello Jenny welcome to the club! Going by that incredible meme you've done I believe you are in good company. In fact I understood all of it and feel like it isn't too weird to say we might be kindred spirits. Don't worry, we can read Takemiya Jin together while people noticeably keep their distance and give us funny looks.
