The day yoasobi released this, I just knew both the song and te show would be ABSOLUTE BOMB🤩🤩🤩🤩...now we know who might get the anime of the year and best opening sequence title🤭🤭

The ending will always be the best part of the song, no questions asked. Still like the original version more though.

K-Pop? Bias? Nah man, we only know Ai and Ruby Hoshino in this house.

I didn't know Yoasobi did English songs as well tbh pleasant surprise hearing the English version of Idol, the rhythm is pretty much exactly the same not sure which version I like more the Jap or Eng one (★‿★)

I like the lines at minute 1:45
"There can not be weaknesses to find. the brightest star is residing in you. the gaps and shortcomings, don't show em. Parts nobody wants to know should remain hidden. If it's different(from my illusion) no way, no way. Such a true love, it's the realist Ai.

Then there is the symbolism of her wearing a bunny costume to appeal to everyone while keeping her true self hidden away.

I love this song XD

Its a great song to listen to. There probably aren't many english versions on par or better than the original one but this one is an exception as the voice is the same and many words and phrases are pronounced in a way to match the original such as 'daremo as the emotion' and more. As the thumbnail might seem a bit tempting, the song is great too!!

Woah I didn't expect the original artist to sing the english version too!

Upon seeing the lyrics, my fave would be the last part :

"One day, I will hold everything that I pursue Yes, I am so greedy, true voracious idol

I must say, the translator lyricist of the english version really did a good job!

Yoasobi is back with another banger! The English version came out just as well as Racing Into The Night did and I'm pleased that it's well received so far. Also noticed that the Tik Tok trends for Idol is popping off recently so I appreciate all the Oshi no Ko content popping in front of my face everyday
