| @alphametroid My issue is that I often fall for the limited edition sales that have a tapestry included. This limits shelf space sadly. But yes, it's definitely an addiction. I only started reading yuri manga march this year, which turned out to be the most expensive decision I made this year... Thus far. @JennyAysgarth I really love her art, and I like how many of her slender character designs reminds me of 2000s shoujo anime. Mochi au lait is definitely a different beast when it comes to connecting stories. But I really enjoy the cameos that happen in Takemiya's stories, they dont even need to have dialogue. Makes you feel happy you read a previous work and that the characters are still going. This really makes me want to start a general author discussion thread. |

| I’m really awful when it comes to things like authors. I know there are a bunch of famous ones, and I probably own a bunch of their stuff, but putting their works in a pile and judging based on the whole catalogue is not something I’m good at doing. I just find it difficult to take that kind of thing as a whole as opposed to each thing individually. I feel like I’m rambling and not making a whole bunch of sense but yeah, I just don’t think that way I guess. |

| Okay, I didn't know that Dear My Teacher 10 got a physical release. As I'm sure you're well aware, there's been a 5 years wait for chapter 10. And when it got released, I felt so happy. I love this series so much. Ajichi's yuri is so good, god. I know many of those around would disagree, and I say it with all my love for Morinaga Miruku, but Failed Princesses is the picture-perfect way of how to do the trope used in Morinaga-sensei's Girlfriends. And in any case, Morinaga-sensei really got to do what she really wanted to do with that kitten series, that's my honest opinion |

| @JennyAysgarth In general a lot of manga deserves to be on the relation list, but I enjoy the voting system a lot as it brings some talks about it to the table. Dear My Teacher vol 10 physical release came out beginning of this year. @CureSolo Yes I do save a lot on buying JP releases, the price difference is way more than enough to make up for good shipping as well. I think I remember a message from previous TL group saying that Yuri SM would get translated on a volume basis, which is why it havent been touched for so long. Vol 3 released feb 2023 and volume 4 30th april 2024, so it is understandable that it has been inactive for over a year. With that in mind; SquigglesJP uploaded a new chapter 14 last week, so chapters might pop soon for those that wait for translations. Yes Dear My Teacher have 10 volumes, I bought the vol 1-9 in the 3 omnibus versions. On a side note. The best purchase in that haul by far was the Shino to Ren volume 1 book. Not only does it have multiple colour illustrations between chapters, it is also printed in colour like 'The Guy She Was Interested in Wasn't a Guy at All' but instead of the green scheme, it uses yellow for one chapter, purple for another, and so forth. |

New haul from late june. 
There are various doujinshi works with uninteresting covers as well in the haul, but it would just fill the floor with a lot of random colours with no character illustrations. Shino to Ren continues the trend of being a full colour volume with colour scheme changing every chapter and between chapter illustrations. Beautiful. Was surprised that Takemiya Jin's series had used embossing for the characters, art and letters on the covers. Can't be seen in the pictures though, but definitely adds to the covers. |

| @CureSolo I would love if I could actually link them all, but MAL being MAL, we lack a lot of titles and it's hard since most doujins are self-published, which IIRC does not live up to MAL standards. Also linking them means more people will look them up, that will mean more people to talk to about them. I am lazy myself in that regard, and unless a title captures my interests I rarely end up searching for them. But I almost always click if there is a link to them. |

So now I still have one left I need. Finding a new Ajiichi series was also surprising, and I wonder if I am the only one that didnt know about it. Considering I have problems even finding raw scans on the usual sites for 'Because I am a silly girl', I might have to scan this thing myself, unless I can find it online by digging around more. |

| @JennyAysgarth I had no idea that she is putting out a new one, but I havent checked twitter recently. If I had known i'd have taken my vacation in august and not november. Although the august heat at comiket would probably take my life. She got no plans to be selling these in stores or other proiders... I can only hope for her to have a printed stack for her website, or buying one second hand. As for Dear My Teacher, in general groups don't keep track of doujin series that much, because of their highly irregular release times, and you got to be a hawk on their socials or websites to know, unless you are using a japanese feed. Sometimes I also see groups that want to start a doujin serie, but then wait for some chapters to accumulate, only for the author to make not make a sequel in years. They also have pretty much no concern of falling behind on doujins, and can just let it sit while they catch up on current on-going things. The one thing that really irks me though are groups that start translating an anthology serie, and skip multiple chapters due to them not liking certain ones or only wanting to show english speakers a specific chapter. People don't really want to snipe, so the chances of other groups picking it back up is lower then, and since it in many cases wont get a sequel, it is easily forgotten. |

Really happy that they are pumping them out so fast, unlike Amayo no Tsuki. It is taking every fiber of my being, not to jump into the raws for it. I am still split on whether or not I should start getting otherside picnic manga or the light novel. I get split opinions on the horror mood being set in them. Surprised to see it got 10 vols out in english. |

| @JennyAysgarth Apparently I need to get caught up with that manga. I really enjoy it, but it's been a while. @Ahopiyo-_- Cheerful Amnesia is some nice fluff and is pretty funny at times as well. I can think of some other titles I would rather have published in English, but it is nice to own. Of course I had to have Lonely Girl. It's one of my favorite yuri manga. I haven't read it in a long time, so I'm anxious for it to finish releasing so I can re-read everything. I think Amayo no Tsuki releases have been fast(around every 3 months), but volume 6 will be a 6 month wait. It's nearly caught up to JP so it kind of makes sense. I enjoy the Otherside Picnic manga a lot. Hell, I even enjoyed the anime. I have heard the LN has more more yuri in it and of course gets farther in the story. I think it's enjoyable for what it is, a horror mystery sci-fi series. I do recommend the manga. |

| @CureSolo Not knowing what is new is a feeling I understand, but I just send all to a storage now and collect later on. I still haven't read KimiTsuzu, I want all the volumes before I start and I believe volume 6 will be the last one? I definitely need to stock up on something to read afterwards, since It will probably destroy me. I will post entire collection soon, but I just feel triggered, I have issues getting a few random volumes for a few series, so it feels incomplete. I found some of the first Yurihime comics back when it was a quarterly release, so looking forward to those and seeing what was being printed at the time, since it is soon 20 years ago. |

Speaking of English releases, although not yuri, I had almost forgot the manga lone wolf and cub got a reprinting recently. Super influential, considered an all time classic. Was one of my big missing series for a long time. Ordered all of the omnibuses. Very excited to read it. |

It is quite spicy. As you might expect, it's in full color and you do pay for that. There are several club members that swear by it. I haven't read enough to have a fair opinion. Maybe I will read vol 2 online just so I can read the rest. |

The real problem is that both of us have read so much yuri that we can safely say that you and I have read most of it. If I were to put it into the numerical dimension, it sure would read over 90%. No matter what I could recommend to you or you recommend to me, it would very likely not be news. So, I kind of thought maybe the best option for you and me would be to, "Hey, why not re-read this one?" |

| As always, I’m jealous of the ability to get and read the JP stuff. Gives you access to some stuff we don’t get in English which we totally should. That being said we do get an oddly large amount of it in English now a days so that’s great news. Probably doing another order to catch up on ongoing series soon myself. | @Ahopiyo-_- yeah, I totally know what you mean. I was reading Kitakawa while being fairly depressed, so I think I should revisit it if I ever feel happy and content. It will likely give me a different impression. Recently, I reread the entire corpus of Takemiya Jin's work, and definitely saw it in a new light. It was a bit strange even. Like meeting an old and dear friend and talking about something very intimate. @alphametroid This is one of the main reasons why avid manga readers should eventually study Japanese, at least in my eyes. Relying on English translations alone makes them dependent either on licensing agreements between publishers or on whether some scanlator finds this particular manga interesting. And has enough time and inspiration to actually make a translation. In both cases, lots of outstanding works are completely unattainable to the English-speaking audience, so speaking the language really gives the readers free rein. And, of course, no matter how good a translation may be, it's never entirely correct, and some things are inevitably lost. Japanese, of course, isn't an easy language to master, but consistent immersion works miracles. Especially if you're dealing with something you personally find interesting and enticing. |
