Fucking love getting non gender conforming stories

Hmmm, does Akira know Marin from somewhere? She seems to be cautious around her being involed in the same projects as her. Maybe it's her relationship with Gojo somehow. In any case, we'll see that later. For now, having the quick cosplay segments with Aoi and then her not being to attend the event was kinda funny, not gonna lie.

I don't remember what's between those 2 or understand or that they didn't say what between them cause looks like akira hates Marin without a single reason as I remember

For me, this season is a lot about Gojo and I really like his development. Each episode is him realising he is okay to be him and that people like that. It might seem like a cheap trope, or blow off some girl when he was young putting him down - but it does not take much, and he clearly has other stories in his life, family ones etc. Feeling unwanted and that what you like should be hidden from others is very real, and as a person who has been a looong time anime fan, gamer etc - it is a real arc in people's lives.

@rasterman7 i wondered if Gojo, but maybe its something longer and deeper we do not know yet. Maybe Akira is a super fan but shy. She does seem overly shy.

This was quite the interesting episode.
Starting with another cosplay convention meet. Marin and gojo are meeting with their respective people for different purposes.
Its nice to see gojo going out of his shell and meeting up with people for once.

Marin meets with suzuka san and both of them meet up with amane and boy he has just cosplayed gorgeously again.

I was like suzuka questioning myself if thats really a boy for a moment minus the panic attack she was having xD . (not sure about the lewd part she mentioned)



As marin described how well detailed his cosplay was from the dress to the makeup & other stuff. All down perfectly, including how amane was portraying the characters personality amazingly. Also learned fun fact about photographer lines which was nice and quite a helpful tactic ngl.

Meanwhile speaking of gender assuming mistakes both gojo and akira meet up & its a suprising reveal. ngl wakana chan sounded cuter lol

We meet Suzukas friend Miya whos another reverse cosplayer. She looked really cool too and also really hit it off with amane which was quite wholesome seeing how their cosplays genre similarly aligned.



Suzuka also taught marin lot of photography techniques for her new camera as well which marin can use for her future cosplay sessions.

Back to gojo and akira. They clear their misunderstandign and gojo finds out the picture was Akiras OC. We get a little segment for OC cosplay as well which i thank the studios for.
Also just wanna put out Akiras Hot and i love her demeanor & personality. Fits her overall look so well too.



Anyways Akira describes her cosplay in detail and her design preference. But she undermines it was well as not being impressive but gojo has a different outlook. He appreciates her work in a honest & goofy way that makes akira laugh & smile making her feel a little better. Ah gojo you just make everyones day you lovable boy. Anyways akira agrees to teach him about props.

Marin & suzuka meet up with them. Somehow Akira acts weirdly infront of marin for some reason. Suzuka seeing wakana also mistakes him for a girl the first time due to his surname. Is wakana usually a girls name in japan?

lol also suzuka has something sus going on with her regarding highschool boys for sure. Vivid imagination *cough*

We go to a litte after party to relax where lot of discussions take place including carrying favorite anime dolls & stuff to carry around to relieve stress at work or as a decoration at home. Gojo was so happy seeing someone adore dolls like he does, my boy felt at home. Unfortunately our segment host Aoi couldnt join she was doing a great job with it.
Anyways Suzukas group had decided to do a cosplay shoot a for series called coffin but derailed due to some of the members having work and life responsibilities (relatable af). Marin and Amane decide to help them out in this pickle & guess who marin decided to call for backup as the final member.



Juju sama is back! Lets goo I missed her since first season and glad to see her back. Hope we can see shinju too with her. This will be a big cosplay party for real with new & old faces together. Also Akiras still behaving weird around marin so we need to see whats up with that too hope nothing serious.
Next episodes will be hype. Cant wait for next episode.

Shocked at the complaints! I've been loving every episode with how damn well-produced and nicely animated everything looks. The visual gags are also on-point. And the pacing is.... exactly what I was expecting and looking for? I dunno, I was already sold on this story after Season 1, and this season has so far been even better.

Where do you see complaints about production quality? I think this might be the only thing that has been consistently good across all episodes.

You were looking for nothing at all happening throughout the whole episode? I like SoL anime, but the pacing of some episodes is much slower than most of SoLs I've watched. I wouldn't mind if it were like this in season 1 (since I would just drop it then) or even most of season 2, but if you were expecting this, then I think we've watched a different season 1.

Slow pacing only works if characters are likeable and unique, but we're being introduced to an ensemble of samey filler characters that most likely won't be explored to a point of likeability. I think this anime would need to have a solid 60 episodes to work with to give these characters some depth or quirks. Maybe that would break the illusion that I'm watching inoffensive character x being re-introduced each episode. None of the characters introduced this season feel memorable, despite taking much more screen time than extras in the first season.

@Yeetious Your last line is not true at all, we just got over the most cosplay heavy part of the Manga with this episode, now the romance will take the focus again in the next episodes until the end of this season and the last Manga arc that should be adapted in season 3 (assuming there's one) is heavy on the romance too.

Not saying Cosplay trivia and infos will completely disappear don't get me wrong but saying we will keep seeing episodes as heavy on cosplay as this one is misinfo for anime-only.

@Shadow_Master_T Marin is her actual given name. Marine is the cosplay name she uses online. Not much of a disguise name, but you know Marin.

@Saizo32 Nope, now there's the Coffin arc and right after that we'll get the Mandate of Heaven arc. They were absolutely insufferable to read and only after both we'll get some romance finally.

Also Amane looked SO FUCKING GOOD in that blue haired cosplay. Like hot damn lol. So pretty.

I have no idea whats going on with this jacket girl.

I forgot to mention this last week. With the prevalence of phone cameras it was thought that actual cameras would be phased out. Kodak even went bankrupt trying to hold on the commercial film market. But while the low end digital cameras are little better than what you find on smartphones these days, the same cannot be said for cameras priced in the thousands.

I wonder what Akira's problem with Marin is?

@Embient the first two episodes looked a little off, but they quickly corrected whatever issue that was and everything is perfect now :)

@Kipo0007 Marin is like a superfan, other photographers be like, that is a cute looking character. But Marin shows a deep appreciation for the character and notices all the little details the cosplayer probably agonized over for hours to get right.

I really don't get why people is complaining about. Bet all these people who are complaining, they just didn't read the manga...

Here's a piece of advice for all those who are unsatisfied with the anime:

G E T - L O S T, and go watch something else...

Well manga readers did say that this series went full on focus on cosplaying for quite along time with little romance in between, so I was prepared for it but didn’t realise it was to this extent and then some.

@Mattinator95 The heavy focus on cosplay you are talking about is over now , it will still be there of course as this show is about cosplay first and always was but now the show will focus more on character development and romance , for Manga readers it was months of suffering but for you guys it was just like two episodes so it's all good, I can understand the complain but people should really watch the season till the end before making final judgment.



"Wakana" is a girl name in Japan, he was named like that because his passion about Hina dolls is supposed to be "girly".
I feel like ton of people here forget his actual name is "Wakana" and not "Gojo" lol "Gojo" is the family name.
