I do not think that there is such a thing as the best Karasuno 1st Year because each member played a very significant part in making Karasuno so great. It is Hinata's determination and willpower to evolve and strive to reach the top, despite facing hardships. It is also the reason why Kageyama was able to become a better setter and overcome his traumatic past. He was able to become a better king on the court. Kageyama's amazing talent for volleyball has allowed Hinata to reach new levels. Both Hinata and Kageyama believed in each other before anyone else did or even tried. It is Tsukishima's intelligence and good blocking skills that were able to give Karasuno the confidence to beat Shritorizawa and go to nationals. It is Yamaguchi's persistence to perfect the jump serves to prove that everything is possible, despite facing hardships. It is not about miracles but it is about not to give up and have a positive mindset that one day you will achieve what you have worked hard for.
