Synopsis

The bullied girl in class Rin Sakura and the honor student who doesn't want to make any waves, Yuuya Komine, were classmates and haven't once exchanged words with each other. Everything between them changes when Yuuya goes with the flow around him and tells her to go die. Rin jumps from the classroom window. She escapes death and claims that it was Yuuya's fault. The bewildered Yuuya tells Rin that he'll do anything as he begs for forgiveness. Rin tells him that what she wishes for is love.

Holy crap this series.

From the synopsis, you'd think this would be some dark exploration of depression, bullying, and such.

It isn't at all.

It may seem to start that way, but what it really is is our main character(Sakura) responding to her environment of being bullied by going haywire and making a giant, crazy leap forward (pun intended) that spurred her to do things for her benefit, and coincidentally, also benefits most of the people around her as the story progresses.

This is a roller coaster ride of a series. Most of the time I was wondering where the hell the series was going, and I'm honestly unsure if I like that or not.

The characters of the series, especially Sakura, are what really makes this series. Sakura has decided that she will live the life she wants by whatever means necessary. It's an interesting premise, but it makes the character confusing at times. I couldn't tell if she was incredibly calculating or living moment-to-moment, even at the end... A good dramatic read that depends a whole lot on the unknown and coincidences.

Story 8/10:
I gotta stay the starting chapter was one of the strongest I've read so far, and the plot moving was something to look forward with every chapter. If it wasn't for some stuff depending way too much on coincidences I would have rated it waay higher.


Characters 7/10:
I might be the only one saying this but Sakura Rin had a weirdly inconsistent character and I don't mean it in a theatrical way. She the FL had alot of moments where her character shifts just so we can feel certain thing. Wish ...
