Well, I am a sucker both for music AND lesbians, so this is a perfect pick for anyone with similar tastes!
Let me start by saying I love, love, LOVE THE ARTSTYLE!!! I'm a huge fan of mangakas using one leading colour (like in Nagata Kabi's memoirs), it really captures your attention from the get-go. Character designs are also top-notch, I'm very pleased that I never encountered the oh-so-known problem of not being able to recognize even the main cast when presented with some new characters. My first review, please spare my soul.
First of all, I would recommend this manga to anyone who's looking for something easy on the eyes, fluffy and mostly drama-less! It is a quick read, with only 4 volumes and really nice art. I think it's the strongest quality of all of the author's works. The story, though... Despite it being tagged as "Girls Love", there's very little yuri in here - only subtext, really. And, unfortunately, for the most part, I could not bring myself to really like the main pairing. To me, they were just a bit too flat and at times I found myself drawn ... |
