Hi and welcome to my MyAnimeList profile!
I'm passionate about Japanese culture in all its forms — whether it's animation, manga, music, or even cuisine.
When it comes to anime and manga, I have a soft spot for psychological works that dive into the complexity of the human mind, moral dilemmas, and deep, layered plots. Titles like Monster, Paranoia Agent, Death Note, Psycho-Pass, Tomodachi Game, and anything involving mind games, manipulation, or strategy have left a strong impression on me.
That said, I enjoy a bit of everything — drama, thriller, slice of life, seinen, shōnen… and I also have a real soft spot for romance, especially when it's well-written and emotionally impactful.
I love discovering underrated gems, so feel free to send me your recommendations!
I'm here to connect, share, and maybe even debate our favorite series.
See you around, and happy anime watching!

It is a pleasure to meet you ❤ I hope you are doing well (ෆ˙ᵕ˙ෆ)
How are things going?
You don't know what Dokomi is? Let me explain real quick: It's an Japan and Anime/Manga themed Event/Convention.
It was my first time there and I met some really cool people and saw incredible cosplays and characters, it was such a fun experience!
There were also people spontaneously dancing to music, creating such a fun and vibe. Everyone was so chill and friendly, it really added to the positive atmosphere of the event.
That said, it was very crowded and felt a bit overfilled. It was hard to properly look at figures or merchandise because there were just so many people.
Still, I managed to get a few awesome things!
I bought a cup featuring a custom design drawn by someone’s daughter, it looks super cool and unique.
I also picked up a plushie and four keychains: Hatsune Miku, Misa Amane, two cute cats, and one with a hand-drawn design.
My favorite part?
Definitely the Itasha (anime-wrapped car) collection! I absolutely love them, they looked incredible.
I’ll attach a photo here so you can see!
Some of the cars were themed after The Quintessential Quintuplets, Date A Live, Violet Evergarden, and more.
My personal favorites were the ones with Gawr Gura and Violet Evergarden, they looked so good!
Such a cool experience overall! Recommend :)
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! I like how you described “What This World Is Made Of”, readable story that’s not too heavy sounds like a nice change of pace. I’ll keep that in mind.
It’s a shame about Dororo’s ending, but I get how external pressures can affect a creator’s work. Still cool that you connected with the manga more than the anime! (^v^)-b
Glad to hear you’re enjoying Monster, that series really knows how to build suspense. I personally really enjoy it too.
Also, no problem at all for the movie recommendation, I hope you enjoy it! It’s pretty good.
As for psychological-themed recommendations, nothing comes to mind right away, but I want to suggest something unique. When I think of the perfect one, I’ll definitely let you know.
Dororo is pretty solid. I get what you mean about the animation, it threw me off at first too. I kept starting it, then stopping, over and over until I finally finished it. But yeah, it’s got a really nice story and concept. Ah, you’re reading the manga? That’s a good move. I do that a lot too, if the anime doesn’t hit right, I just switch to the manga.
I get you, anime with strong psychological elements are super interesting. Have you seen Monster? That one's pretty heavy on the psychological side. There’s also this Japanese movie called Character, it’s pretty underrated, but it’s a solid psychological horror film.

Haha, you’re right :D, I definitely read more manga than watch anime. But lately, I’ve been trying to get back into anime, especially with seasonal stuff. It’s easier to keep up when you’re only watching one episode per series each week.
Speaking of seasonal anime, I saw you’re watching Rock Is a Lady's Modesty. What do you think of it? It’s pretty good, right? ^_^
What kind of manga or anime have you been reading/watching lately?
