I must admit, I saw this anime when I was almost Nagasumi's age, and believe me, I didn't understand it, I got bored, now what's good? Years have passed and it even felt like it was actually the first time I had seen it, seto no hanayome is an incredible experience if you are looking for something to pass the time and laugh and it even sometimes makes you reflect and laugh at the same time with its iconic situations, I must admit that some episodes of the anime almost make me cry because of how unique they feel and you even feel the affection

they have for the characters, The plot is something special but at the same time seen from time to time in other animes, Nagasumi Michishio is a 14-year-old student who after arriving at his grandmother's house on his summer vacation, he does not know how to swim and drowns and without warning a mermaid saves his life! Since mermaids are something unreal in our world, no one believes him but suddenly a very pretty lady appears at his house and asks him to marry him! This is how seto no hanayome begins! something straight to the point and even quite original but this is when it starts to get curious, it turns out that the girl who saved nagasumi is the daughter of a gangster! From here we are introduced to a very peculiar and also quite mysterious character Masa-san! who revives Nagasumi and he, confused and even without knowing where the hell he is, says that Masa San gave him his first kiss but from there he hears a voice and it is Seto San's father! who calls him a worm and he is now in trouble because he has to save himself from an overprotective father who does not believe what his daughter has done, and starts to cry and scream because his beloved Sun San has to die or marry the worm (nagasumi) so that she can live, which the father refuses and tries to kill Nagasumi and almost causing a scandal along the way, from there we meet Seto San's mother who is more relaxed and also trusts Nagasumi but this only makes his father-in-law angrier! They order Nagasumi to be killed in any way but after Gon's thugs (Seto San's father) want to kill Nagasumi, he opens a door and causes the whole place to flood (I don't know how they get in or out, that seems very curious to me) Seto San saves him and even tells him that knowing that she could die, she risked saving him but she says something that is true on many occasions "if I see someone in danger and not I helped him that would break the chivalry of the mermaids" it is written ningyo (<>人魚) And also in this kanji it is read as chivalrous, and nagasumi agrees to take care of sun chan from now on! From here an incredible love begins to form between Seto San and Nagasumi! THIS IS THE main premise of the anime that I really loved watching from start to finish, what I liked most was the animation and the comedy and its, although little romance, which was spot on for such a peculiar anime, it is something that I personally cheered up in my darkest days, seeing the adventures of nagasumi and company is something that really fills me with joy SO IF YOU CAN, keep an eye on Seto no hanayome
