I mean I don't really celebrate it since most of the people I used to celebrate it it was about alcohol and food that I don't even each even in my personal life so ye..it would just leave me with stomache for 2 days or whatever sort of extended relationship i would have with my t*ilet due to the state of my insides..haha.

You should definitely check out the OG Macross, ADV dubbed. You also got Fafner on your PTW which was one of the best sci-fi anime I've seen in forever.
Your PTW has plenty of interesting sci-fi indeed.
I put the Silent Möbius manga, side stories and sequel over adaptations guaranteed despite requiring serious Japanese reading. Silent Möbius may be about futuristic exorcists, but the story gets ddeeper than that.
