I read your review and Shinn was ordered to shoot down the Freedom, which in turn, will kill Kira. Now if the Minerva never got those orders to shoot down the Archangel and Freedom, Shinn couldn't do nothing until those orders were given. He wanted revenge, and the orders the Minerva was given aligned with his goal.

I completely agree with your short review of MSG Seed Destiny, Shinn Asuka is the most loathsome character that I ever came across in anime he is Thee Biggest hypocrite ever.
