| Wow, Deku really did have the fight of his life this episode. Like literally, he was fighting for his life and what's in front of him. It's crazy because up to that point, Deku fought with confidence and determination. Then, he is reminded of Bakugo and those memories came hitting hard damn. Felt like a movie honestly with all those emotions. At least we know what side Stain is on for this fight. |

| Dramatic cliffhangers are what this show lives for, and ending the first episode of the season with Stain’s appearance was definitely a dramatic move... but as usual, it doesn’t really go beyond that lol. Dude got taken out in less than ten minutes. Makes you wonder what the point was of bringing him back just to remove him from the picture not even a full episode later. At least we can confirm he’s dead because that overly dramatic OST ain't cutting it lol. But yeah, if the whole All Might and his mom flashback at the start wasn’t enough of a hint, that ultimate disrespect when AFO literally held All Might upside down should’ve made it clear he wasn’t making it past this episode. The worst part is, even after All Might blew himself up along with AFO, we all knew deep down only one of them was actually meeting their end.... Except, yeah people don’t really stay dead in this series, do they. Ato, I’m just waiting for the “big twist” where they reveal Nighteye didn’t actually die either, he’s probably alive somewhere, ready to show up again any moment. Just like our boy Bakougou there at the end... lollllll. Cool entrance and all, but I feel like they could've picked a better OST there. Wouldn't have minded another MightU use or something. Regardless, damn did Deku and him look crisp there at the end. And next episode looking at that preview looks fucking insane. Can't wait. Also that ED is no doubt top two of the series, and maybe even one visually, that was mind blowing stuff there. |

| Despite this series disappointing me tremendously. I still stayed up till 2:30 AM to catch stream of this. The End of An Era may be one of the most cinematic scenes in the whole series. They actually expanded a bit from the pages and the outlines that have been used super SPARINGLY across the last two episodes, is in full style here. They knew they had to get this right, it's the biggest moment of the entire climax. UMAKOSHI DID YOU RETURN!?  I did cry. The anticipation and music honestly brought me to tears. Fuck you Horikoshi. |

Such an emotional episode, the helplessness, the hopeless, the convictions and the rise of timely savior, truly the perfect set up for a good ol classic heroic moment. |
| What an episode! A 100/10 💯❤️🔥❤️🔥 That was a heartwarming scene with young Toshinori and his mom. Stain to All Might: Although I never had any higher education, you taught me everything about what it meant to be a hero. Live on and Win; My All.. 😭😭 Shimura to All for One: You will be defeated by All Might. I'm sure of it.. 'cause Toshinori is even crazier than you. I got the chills When it felt like all is lost and the end of an era.. Bakugo: I'm here And that was the beginning of a new era.. Yuki Hayashi.. the GOAT. The man made an absolute masterpiece of music throughout this show. Hats off !! |
| Man... what a god-tier episode. I was just as desperate as everyone else watching All Might go through all that in those last moments of the episode. Tears flowing for All Might as I love him so much. Deku not being able to do anything to help him, and everyone praying for someone to help him. In that moment, he rose back from his demise. Bakugo, the soundtrack during his waking up was angelic as well. If there's anything we need right now, is help from anyone. And, Bakugo rising up for the occasion made me cheer for him so hard. AHHHH... It was so good. I had goosebumps. Also, RIP Stain. Your help meant a lot to many, especially to All Might. And, RIP Hercules as well. You were a great suit, till the end. The best My Hero ED as well. Such a good ED visually and musically. So good. The next episode is gonna be a big one. |

| I've seen tons of criticism about this moment, ever since it happened in the manga, from people who repeatedly parrot the same brain dead take of "Bakugo should have stayed dead." Those people say that because they love to criticize Horikoshi for NOT taking risks with killing off major characters, so it's comical that they really expected a sudden 180, this late in the series, against the character that's consistently voted as the most popular in MHA. LOL. Such a dumb take, fakeout deaths usually piss me off but I don't mind it here because I expected this to happen ever since Bakugo first "died." I don't think he was ever actually dead to begin with anyway, just near death. This was a great episode, and one of the most pivotal in this final arc. They nailed it, the hopelessness of everyone as they witness All Might almost die to then seeing Bakugo come back and bring back a little bit of hope with him, good job to the staff for capturing that nicely. Also, I really liked it whenever Hori would wait until the end of a significant chapter to display the title, and I love how the anime adapts that as well. It happens sparingly but those chapters/episodes usually tend to be some of the series' best. |

| Oh man, what a beautiful final ED for My Hero Academia, Bump of Chicken really did it justice and the animation was amazing, all of those moments from past seasons being shown really makes it feel like a good sendoff. About the episode itself, damn it was a shame to see Stain’s time in the fight cut so short when AFO basically rendered his quirk useless, I mean rewriting your blood? Not even Stain can combat that. It was sad but at least Stain had a great moment before his death, he may have killed many heroes but RIP (if he actually died there). Rest of the episode was some more cruelness on AFO’s part, he knows exactly what he’s doing by drawing out killing All Might before everyone, he even shut down All Might’s heroic sacrifice, but regarding how the episode ended, maybe it’s a good thing that was stopped because it looks like Bakugo is about to do something crazy, I’m very excited to see what it is, the look on Midoriya’s face there added a lot to the moment. Also the bits of All Might backstory were good, and man once again with Nana being so relevant so long after her death, her words about All Might being the one to defeat AFO aren’t looking so good rn but even if it’s not All Might himself that does it, his legacy will, but I’m still holding out for All Might no matter how bad it looks for him, dude has been though a lot and should already be dead but the fact he’s still alive gives me hope. And lastly, W Gentle Criminal with keeping the floating prison up all this time, same with those inside, they may not all be taking on the final bosses but they’re all heroes in this final battle, including the X66 pilots who unfortunately got shot down by AFO. |

| Gotta be honest, not to sound too cynical but the only thing I got from this episode was the new ED animation. Such a fluid drawing is something that the main series animation doesn't do much with all of the flashbacks, not even in the fights themselves considering all of the talking. Regarding the plot, I mean, it was pretty predictable after all of that that they would tease us again with another fake attempt at killing All Might (who to me should have died way back in season 3 but that's a topic for another time). Everything is dire and moving at such a slow pace that I find it a bit funny there are even people in universe bored of the fight and doing something else (seriously). Next time: remember Bakugo? |

| Not gonna lie, I was kinda expecting this episode to have better animation and overall direction. Maybe it's because they are saving everything for the next episode (the preview looked jaw-droppingly good) but tonally it felt like I was waiting for someone to save All Might rather than watching the Symbol of Peace die. I wish they took a more sombre approach here so that it didn't feel so melodramatic. The ED looked great though. One of the series best. |

| There's only so many times you can do the whole "are they dead or aren't they" routine, also known as "they were dead but surprise they're back!". There's only so many times you can yoink a potentially-long-forgotten character back in, only to kill them off for good a minute or three later (maybe? who even knows here, see the previous point). There's only so many times you can do the whole very-emotional-potentially-childhood flashback to pluck on people's heartstrings. Especially when it's in the middle of an Ultimate Decisive Battle™️ - hell, there's only so many times you can have an Ultimate Decisive Battle™️. Things wear thin. Repeat them too many times and they lose their meaning, lose their impact. Once that's gone, once they're empty husks, they become annoying sludges to slow down and drag out the plot - or fight, whichever the case may be. Idk how many more skins (read episodes) they're gonna pull off this thing, I'm sticking around to see how it plays out, but fuck me, it sure feels like that's all this series has been boiled down to at this point. Too much skipping ahead, too much fastforwarding to do, because even the potential spectacles don't really make up for the inane crap that tries to be so serious in lieu of actual substance. |
| Damn. Stain really couldn't do anything. All he did was get his quirk stolen. Did he also die? All For One has some crazy plot armor. And All Might kinda does too with how Hercules conveniently came back to life to save him. Oh wow. Bakugo is finally back. And I think it's all thanks to Best Jeanist. The ending scene and the preview looked great. I'm glad this season seems to have better animation than the last. |
| This episode was so peak. 10/10 !! You can’t argue with me. When there was no hope left Bakugou awoke from his death. “The end of an era and the beginning” that was portrayed so well with the childhood flashback of Izuku and Katsuki. The music made it even more cinametic and I’m not gonna lie I cried. So glad he’s back!! Great job Horikoshi, couldn’t have made it any better. The preview also looks so good!!     |

| What an excellent episode this was and it's a reminder as to how good My Hero Academia can be when it needs to be. While Stain's involvement was cool, he sadly didn't last long at all due to All For One having a contingency plan for almost anything and dealing with Stain was one of them. With his quirk stolen, Stain died, but I do respect him for trying here while still having faith in All Might. The term "Down, but not out" would fit perfectly with how the rest of the episode went. All Might refuses to back down until the very bitter end, where it did look like AFO would finally take him out in front of the watching media of the world, but thank god Bakugo finally returned to life in such fashion that made for a perfect way to finish up this episode. Not only that, but the ED was also great, both from the visuals and the vocals from Bump Of Chicken. I highly look forward to seeing what happens next. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the fightback that the hero really needed. |
