Both manga take the dark theme of professional assassins and twist it into something comedic and lighthearted. They highlight the assassins’ everyday lives and hobbies, and the quirky struggles that come with them. 

Both manga are about the lives of assassins when they aren't, well, assassinating people. Both are slice of life comedies that are good for those who aren't looking for something light to read  

Kyuujitsu no Warumono-san It has the same gap Moe instead of assassin it is an alien on trying to take over the world. Instead of gelato it’s ice cream that they both like instead of a teddy bear or a bear it’s a panda instead of a real dogs, it’s a robot dog. Just someone trying to enjoy their own life. Mr. villains day off is learning about earth and Japan so there is a little bit of surprise about every day. Thanks but whoever reads one will like the other.
