Notably, I am NOT including any titles which have been physically released by Seven Seas or Yen Press in this list as Kodansha was not the one to give them a physical release.

I will include any titles which were previously published by another publisher that Kodansha has re-released.

As the title says, manga that seem quite cheerful but when you think about it are actually very sad. For example, the world of the story might be a complete shitshow but the plot and characters are, in general, having fun or something along those lines.

Romance manga where one character was hurt emotionally or physically by the other causing some loss of trust or some kind of long term problem the other maybe feels bad about
