Synopsis

After retiring from public fighting and getting fired from underground fighting, 27 year old Nozomi Tenma's zest for life is gradually dwindling away. It's hard to be at the bottom with nowhere to go, and that's exactly where she and her two friends are. However, Nozomi hits upon an idea that may just solve all of their problems: they could make their own underground fighting circuit for women, and tap into an underexplored market. As good as that sounds, her insistence on including the unknown quantity Hina Hongou may prove to be more than she bargained for...

Never knew there was another story behind the team of Kengan that just so happens to be occurring in the same world.
This is one of my top new favorites, Isshou Senkin dives into the Kengan world from a different direction.
The female MC is a fighter unfit for combat due to various reasons so she embarks to start up her combat organization.
I am completely pulled into the series for the long run. In terms of praise, I have nothing but positive things to say.

This is definitely an anime material manga, a perfect martial art manga, so to speak. Each panel expresses an excellent sense of weight, movement, and impact.

The story lowkey is like Baki but female, with a slight sense of humour. The cute/stylized line art complements the manga itself to be more compelling.

The plot is interesting and quite unpredictable. Character designs are mint. The visuals of the manga are a mix of [Dumbbell Nan Kilo Moteru?] and [Record of Ragnarok] if you know what I mean.

I highkey couldn't wait for this to actually be made into an anime.

First off, its not my way to write a review for something I have not finished and isn't done releasing. But I feel I have to write this as a warning for those who like me got introduced to Isshou Senkin as a replacement for another women's MMA manga series called Teppu.

This is nothing like Teppu.
