this is a bro story.

Here's how it starts. Two childhood friends (32, Male for both) get killed by a goddess into a fantasy world. However, because of the wish of one of the friends, he was transformed into a western loli. Not only that, the goddess placed a curse on them where the two fall in love with each other. This is an... interesting premise to say the least. Normally, I'd read a few chapters before putting it in the back burner. However, there's a lot going for this manga.

the characters are fantastic. I'm not saying this because the characters have some deep and emotional ... backstory or they go through an arduous journey to figure themselves out as a character, but rather, their chemistry together. Each of the jokes work perfectly, and thats because of the characters. They bounce so well off of each other as opposites in terms of personality. Jinguuji is portrayed as this hard-working, uptight, relatable, and dignified businessman who's popular with all the ladies. On the other side, Tachibana is portrayed as a messy but charming individual and is quite relatable as well. Watching these relatable characters interact is super entertaining to read, and it just feels like you're watching the journey of 2 bros in a fantasy world.

the story is fine but there isn't much to talk about. the art on the other hand, is very neat and clean. you can enjoy the manga without being too absorbed into the art or having the art cause problems. there isn't anything special that stands out from the art, which is perfect for complimenting the rest of the aspects without causing any problems.

i got a lot of chuckles and laughs from this.

this is just really enjoyable to read and doesn't feel cliche or doesn't have any annoying characters. if you haven't read this already, give it a shot

Cooking/Isekai

I came across this manga mainly because I'm trash for generic and basic isekai but what I found was a nice little gem.

Pros:

- While manga with cooking as a premise often seems to base their entire story around it which often leads to an underdeveloped story/world, this manga seems to incorporate the cooking aspect while also developing every other aspect perfectly

... - One of the two strongest points of this manga is the world. Like I said before, there's a well-developed world and often makes you believe that while you're reading, you only scratched the surface of the world and what's to come.

- Consistently detailed and pleasing art

- The story is good, and evolves further and further. With the help of the well set up world, the story is able to build itself up, making you invested in all other aspects like the world and the characters.

- The other of the two strongest points is without a doubt, the characters. A wide range of characters and cultures (Japanese, Scottish/British, Greek, & Chinese). This diversity in culture gives a lot of freedom into the types of dishes that can be made as well. This diversity in culture is incorporated while still having a large and diverse group of fantasy characters with their own characteristics (Elves, Dwarves, Beastmen)

- One of the main reasons as to why the characters is a strong point is because of the interactions/dialogue. It's really entertaining watching the interactions and dialogue between the characters (the little irish girl is really charming lol)

- Some cliche moments that repeats every now and then

- Can be hard to read at times with some unnecessary panels that can just be removed

This manga is very entertaining to read and the pros outweigh the cons. It's not anything fantastic but go give it a read if you haven't already
