As a proof of concept, Shinsei Galverse EP.1 is a cool short OVA with a lot of potential to please new and 90’s anime fans of a similar style. The music and voice acting in particular is great, the character designs are fun. Unfortunately, there was way too much crammed into the 22 mins runtime to work out a coherent plot but it serves as a preview for what may yet to come from this passion project. Hopefully they can secure funding for a season and flesh out the stories and characters because I’d like to see more of this world.
